You know, im from Galveston Tx. Just last year, thousands of islanders lost their homes; gone, nothing but rubble (if even that) All of Galveston suffered from the flooding, winds, and surges. Power was out for at least 3 weeks. Parts of Galveston, today, are still without power. The population of the island went from 60,000 on September 10, 08.. to 30,000 on December 10th 08. Businesses arent even sure if they can make it thru the winter. My situation isnt even CLOSE to some of these. So, your a single mother, join the club. There are families that suffer harder than most, those are the one's that God offeres help to. If you truly deserve the help, you'll get it.

Ms.aubreestarr let me tell you how to be noticed definately not by being golly.I understand you say you have a special needs child, but I don't see all the other people being chosen for this show being ungrateful and saying "how do i get noticed?" Millions of people nation wide are living in poor conditions, have an ill child, have an ill spouse, are ill themselves,need to pay bills and majority of these people are not gonna be chosen to be on this show. I think you may be having hard times as a single mother, but have you heard about or seen the economy these days pretty much everybodys down and Extreme Makeover Home Edition is not gonna be able to fix everyones home. So, anyway maybe to get noticed you actually need to have given back not just sit there doing the feel sorry for me thing.This really made me mad how some people can just expect everything needs to be done for them and I'm sorry I don't know you, but all you can do is pray!!!!!!!!!!!!
