At the Buchanan Lodge, Natalie and John find the dead body of Pamela Stuart, the woman who helped Jared perpetrate his fraudulent claim that he was a Buchanan (and one of Asa's ex-wives). John finds Jared's wallet at the crime scene but Jared is nowhere in sight. Jessica and Brody stun Viki and Charlie with the news that Jared confessed his wrongdoing to Natalie. Despite Jared's seeming guilt, Natalie still believes him and says as much to Clint and John.

Cristian kisses Layla but she pulls back, saying starting something with Cristian would make her feel like she was betraying her sister, Evangeline.

Honestly, I believe that Evangeline would want her sister (Layla) to be happy along with Cris. I believe that Evangeline wouldn't feel betrayed by the two of them dating. I think Evangeline would want Cris to be happy even if it was with Layla instead of her and would want her sister to be happy even if it was the man she loved. Evangeline would want the best for Cris and Layla if that means the two of them being together in a relationship.

only if Evangeline wakes up. now that would be a kicker. Evangeline is still back in time, thinking Cristian is in love with her and vice versa. yes a great story line there.

NO, not since Evangeline is in a comatose state and has been for a couple years. If she were conscious, I would not recommend that Layla and Chris date. Comments?

No, I think that what Evangeline and Cris had was over a long time ago, way before she went into her coma. I think Cristian and Layla deserve a chance to be happy. They have such great chemistry.
