ACTOR BIO

Brittany Underwood joined the cast of One Life to Live in July 2006 in the role of the high school student Langston Wilde.

Ms. Underwood was born in Newark, NJ and raised in Mountain Lakes. She attended Mountain Lakes High School and is currently as biology major at Manhattanville University. Art imitates life for Miss Underwood as her character Langston shares her same Colombian heritage. Her mother, Martha, is from Colombia and she is fluent in Spanish.

In high school, Ms. Underwood was always interested in performing. She appeared in such productions as The King and I, Guys and Dolls, H.M.S. Pinafore, Oliver, Pirates of Penzance and The Music Man. At a crossroads about whether or not she would pursue acting as a career, booking a commercial for "NuStars" was the sign she needed. She signed herself and began to study acting.

While in high school, she was cast in a guest starring role on Law and Order: SVU. In the summer of 2006, she appeared in Shakespeare in the Park's Mother Courage with Meryl Streep.

Ms. Underwood is a black belt in Tae Kwan Do. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys hanging out with her fellow OLTL castmates and friends from school.
