CHARACTER BIO

Despite her background of wealth and privilege, Jessica Buchanan is anything but a princess. Having faced demons that would gut most soldiers, Jessica has maintained a kind and compassionate nature.

The Good

Identified the reason for her strange blackouts was Dissociative Identity Disorder, and integrated her personalities (for a time).

Molested as a young girl repeatedly, leading to development of an alternate personality, Tess (and subsequently Bess).

ACTOR BIO

Bree Williamson joined the cast of One Life to Live in February 2003 in the role of Jessica Buchanan.

Ms. Williamson was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, where she originally planned to pursue a career in business, psychology or women's studies. She opened a successful clothing store with her sister, Tarra, while she was in her late teens. Ms. Williamson attended the University of Toronto, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. While still in Toronto, she devoted her free time to community service, most notably as a planned parenthood advocate at a Toronto organization for teens in need of sexual-health counseling.

Ms. Williamson completed a leading role in the feature film Adam and Eve. Her television credits include guest-starring roles in the Toronto-based Mutant X, Columbia Tristar's DOC and Nikita. She has also appeared in numerous commercials, amongst them ads for Pepsi and Tostitos.

Ms. Williamson relocated to Manhattan for her role on One Life to Live. She is an avid reader and an extreme sports enthusiast.
