CHARACTER BIO

Gentle by nature, Cole Thornhart's a solid guy who just wants to do the right thing. School pressures and the death of his father led to some poor choices, but life got better when he met Starr Manning. Now the two share a teenage daughter. While Cole is often one to make big mistakes, his love for his family always ends up guiding him in the right direction.

ACTOR BIO

Brandon Buddy joined the cast of One Life to Live in October 2006 in the role of Cole Thornhart.

Mr. Buddy was born in Austin, TX. He spent the first to years of his life in Texas before moving to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. His father was in the hospitality industry; therefore, Mr. Buddy's childhood was spent relocating from city to city. At the age of nine, he moved to Augusta, GA, where he stayed until the age of thirteen. Columbus, SC, was the next stop followed by a move to Halifax, Nova Scotia. After a year in Canada, he returned to Florida, this time to Winter Haven. After graduating high school, he returned to his birth state, but this time settling in San Antonio.

Up until this point, Mr. Buddy's acting career consisted of a role in a high school production of Guys & Dolls for which his sister forced him to audition. At the age of 18 while in San Antonio, he met a manager who encouraged him to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

During his 18 months in LA, he was cast in the pilot, Hero's Welcome. He auditioned for the role of Cole, resulting in one more move--to New York for his contract role on OLTL.

In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with fellow OLTL cast members playing football, catching movies or working out.
