Arizona tells the attendings under her rotation: "These children believe in magic. In peds, we have miracles and magic. Anything is possible." She's been taking care of 10-year-old Wallace, who has "short gut syndrome" and has been in the hospital for seven months. His parents are so grateful, they decide to donate $25 million to Seattle Grace! Richard is peeved that it's because of Arizona's work, not his, but of course he'll take the money! So when the father requests another surgery to buy their son more time, Richard talks Arizona into doing it against her better judgment. Of course, we know Arizona was right: the boy dies of septic shock and we wipe away tears as, together in the morgue, she and his mother perform the usual bad-dream-chasing ritual for Wallace. The father says they'll still make the donation, not because of Richard's ass-kissing, but because of Arizona.

I believe Christina has the skills to back up her ego. I think she was out of line to just go against Owen's orders though. She went "rogue" on a child. how would you feel if you knew a surgeon did an unauthorized procedure on your child? Sure, you'd be greatful that they saved your child's life, but wouldn't you be angry too? What if the child had died when she did the procedure? That would definitely be a lawsuit against the hospital. However, Christina is an amazing surgeon and she needs a "cardio god". I'm curious to see how Owen's friend will work out, and to see if she is a "cardio god".

Cristina is a brilliant surgeon. She deserves to have surgeries flying her way, but she did step over the line when she went rogue in the O.R. If Owen hadn't been there, she wouldn't have gotten away with it like she did. Yes she knew what to do, but so did Owen, and he could have done the procedure himself, but he wanted to wait for cardio. Yes she could do it, and yes she did it brilliantly, but I don't think she should have done it.

Cristina have the right stuff to be a #1 Heart Doctot. But Owen is dark and twisted. Cristina need someone who would will allow her to expand her skills. In other words - Take the training wheels off and let her do what she do best, cut. You Go Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think she can back it up!! She rocks! But need to knock off the attitude.. I like her but not when she is snotty. I read replies about George.. I believe he wanted off, he was not happy on here.. Yeah it is not the same without him. Izzy... if she goes (which I hope she doesn't) I believe there are more plans for her on the BIG screen. If she is to stay, I hope they straighten her up!! Poor Alex :( But that new guy that is hitting on Cristina is hot!! Will they hook up?? hmmm!!

I loved the story line of Izzy and Alex! If she is gone I am as well I love her! I am upset with the killin off of O'Mally! And I agree the adding the interns totally takes the show down! Go back to the way it was! I hate this way! Oh and happy Meredith is ok, but still would like to see some of the old meredith!

No. She sleeps with all of her attendings and her professors in medical school. She is an awful role model for young women. The only thing she teachs is that if you sleep with your higher ups then you will get preferential treatment. I tired of seeking this message repeated over and over again. Cristing isn't even a nice person -- is that the message you want to send: you can be mean if you sleep with your supervisor? I wish you would have wrote her out of the show instead of George.

She wasn't only good she was great. Seemed to me she knew what she was doing. Heck, She did alot when Burkes hand was out of commission. Owen acted like a spaze last night.... I used to like him alot in the beginning but now he's starting to annoy me the way he is treating Cris. In fact I'm really missing Burke right about now.

Of course she does!! She is Cristina!! What happened to the Cristina from back when Burk was still on the show. She was awesome. I miss the excitement from the shows from the first 3 years. Did someone fire those writers? The shows are not half as well written as they were in the early years. I wish Burk and George were still on the show. Especially George. I don't blame the guy for leaving after the writers basically wrote "the George" we knew out of the show. We have been very disappointed in the show. Please go back and watch the first few seasons and get that excitement and surprise back into the show. We all miss it!!!!

Christina has nothing but skills....it had nothing to do with luck..she's just very talented...I love her..It is sad to see George go but the show must go on...and for whatever reason he left, best wishes...I think that now that George is out...Dr. Burke should come back and sweep Christina away from Owen....or make it complicated for Christina...i think this will add spice to the show....I'd love to see Christina back with Dr. Burke...Sine Owen has so many hidden secrets and "new "old lovers showing up...it would be interesting to see Christina in a very awkward situation...

Check Yourself before YOu Wreck yourself...Look at the patient with the collapsed lung who died due to her negligence and inability to focus or care

roxy222007, I TOTALLY agree with you. Owen is holding Christina BACK. Personally, I hope this character realizes this and moves on. Preferably with that young, hot doc that had her penned up in her room during the party! He seems very supportive of her medical moves! lol! Anyway, If it wasn't for his backing descision making, something would have definitely gone wrong during that procedure. I hope the Christina character realizes this and appreciates this guys support.

I think that she is brilliant. Also, I think this is the procedure that Dr. Campbell asked her how she would perform with out a fluoroscope and Christina later told her exactly how to do it.

christina has the skills, thats not a good question. Anyone who has watched the show would know. Unfortuneately i was hoping this would break up her and owen. He just doesnt seem like someone she would date, esp considering her burke and the other heart guy she dated. Owen seems more like a restraint on christina and not someone she can shine with. That may just be why she is pushing her luck. Owen doesn't let her run!

This constant up-and-down thing is annoying!They build up a character only to bring him/her down!Izzie according to Addison was the best she'd seen in years at the beginning of season 2,she was the moral compass of the group telling everyone to do right-then bam!She's sleeping with a married man,cutting LVADs,treating deer and ordering all sorts of tests for a FLU?Mer comes up with a clinical trial and drops a kidney?George,the Heart-in-the-Elevator-guy fails his exams?Now Cristina,the one that ALL the Attendings agreed is the BEST,is supposed to be reckless and desperate?Come on!What hospital gets to be Number 12 in the country and does not even (seem to) have a CARDIO GOD???Cristina is good-but everything she learbed appears to be atleast 2 years old-no one appears to have taught her anything after Burke left!She was always shown as the one with the skill-she can work to hone her talent,as we saw last week with the microsurgery thing!It doesnot matter if she was lucky or good-if she had failed,it would have been because she was not taught.

You are right on the dot with that one I agree... It's the same with attendings... SGH lost Burke, Hahn, Montgomery-Shepard, failed to get Dixon, Dr. Campbell finally went to 'Boca', and we still haven't seen Dr Chang!!! (granted it was all writing and story but the idea is that in GA land SGH/MW can't hold an attending.) If it wasn't for Shepard, (see last weeks episode,) 'Attending Land' would be a grim place..... Callie and Arizona don't count they are too new and doing there own thing right now... The current attending (all the others,) haven't had there own centric storyline episodes yet.... Gimme 'Shadow Shepard' or Dr. Swender or i'll take Rose even ( I love Rose,best scrub nurse, ask Nurse Debbie...) I'll take a Rockstar MW attending right about now...

Christina is a great surgeon. She was born to be a cardio surgeon, and I have no doubts about that. She was completely in control of the situation. After all, she's done more than this before, when Burke's hand was shaking, when SHE was only an INTERN! Maybe it wasn't entirely necessary, I don't know, but Christina is an amazing surgeon and I believe in her completely.

She's amazingly good. However, you guys are on your last chance with me as a viewer. If you added Kim as a source for a triangle and do a MerDer again, I will wash my hands of you and will no longer care what you guys do b/c I will no longer watc. Epis 7 & 8 were almost back to the old Grey's again. The humor, the chemistry was almost back. However, I am truly tired of all the cheating BS that you guys love to write about. Why do you think people want to invite a show into their homes week after week of morally corrupt people they don't like (Lexie & Mark as well as Addison - hence PP is dead to me)? More people want characters they like, trust and respect and can root for. Not cheaters, liars and people who sleep their way to the top. No matter how much you shove them down our throat - we will just watch other shows. I am no longer mincing words b/c I am more than annoyed by the Jackson and now Kim potential triangles that you guys are trying to drum up and I highly recommend that you don't head toward that direction or you will be heading toward your own show's demise. You can only get so many chances to mess up our favorite show before it becomes unforgivable and we wash our hands of you. Strike one - Denny ghost, strike 2 interns, strike three would have been the Mercy West story line continuing, but you stopped that. However, if you ruin Cristina and Owen, the only reason we watched your show any more, we will not care if you put them together again later.

I totally 100% agree with you! I love Owen and Cristina! Hopefully all this third/fourth party nonsense will end before it starts! Also, Cristina's Career Crisis is being dragged out way too long! Get on with it! And how does the "love of her life" that she felt comfortable talking to at the very beginning of their relationship (Sp talk, father dying talk, etc.) before they even really got to know each other, all of a sudden is someone she can't communicate straight up with! Get these two back on track ASAP! We love their "special moments" when they are together and bare their souls to each other! Together they can deal with anything! Their emotional and physical chemistry is off the charts, please don't ruin this with some idiotic third/fourth party interference!

BTW - who writes these episode recaps? If what you are trying to do is tell the Cristina/Owen fans to give up on this show entirely (which I think would reduce your viewership considerably), then these recaps are great. If that's not your goal, you may want to have someone review these things before they are posted. Either the person writing them hasn't actually watched the show, or has some other agenda. Either way, they are beyond annoying.
