ACTOR BIO

Tyler Christopher returned to the role of the noble and complex Nikolas Cassadine in April 2003, having originated the part in the summer of 1996. He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy® in 1999, 2005 and 2006 for his portrayal.

Mr. Christopher left GH in 1999 to pursue other projects and quickly landed a recurring role on the popular primetime series Charmed. This was followed by a contract role on The Pretender. Guest starring roles include Crossing Jordan, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Jag, Family Law, Boomtown, The Twilight Zone, Felicity and Angel, among others. In 2005, Mr. Christopher appeared in the Steven Spielberg-produced mini-series Into the West, where he starred as Jacob Wheeler, Jr.

Mr. Christopher has been recognized by his native community, receiving awards for Outstanding Performer in a Television Series in 1997 and 1998 from the First Americans in the Arts. He was also nominated in 2004 for a NAACP Image Award.
