CHARACTER BIO

You'd think growing up as the son of a mobster would mean violence wasn't a big deal, but a stray bullet (meant for his dad) sent Michael into a coma that changed his life, and his family, forever. After a year asleep, Michael woke up no longer the sweet little boy everyone remembered.

ACTOR BIO

Drew Garrett joined the cast of General Hospital in April 2009, playing the role of Michael Corinthos, the beloved teenage son of mobster Sonny Corinthos and Carly Jacks.

Garrett has been involved in the performing arts since childhood. He graduated from The L.A. County High School for the Arts, Dreyfoos School for the Performing Arts and Bak School of the Arts. Recent past appearances include guest stints on Criminal Minds and South O.C. In addition, he was a music host on TeenFaze.com. "General Hospital" is his first major television role.

Born and raised in Jupiter, FL, Garrett moved to the West coast to continue work as an actor. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, skateboarding and comedy improv.
