CHARACTER BIO

Marissa had the perfect life. That is, until her parents died in a car accident. In short order, she discovered she was adopted and that she was sold at birth by her biological mom, Krystal. This might turn anyone else into a ball of bitterness and resentment. Not Marissa. Her compassion, kindness and warmth are the first things people notice about her.

Brittany Allen joined the cast of All My Children in 2009 as Marissa Tasker, the daughter of Krystal Carey and David Hayward. A native of Canada, Ms. Allen has made numerous television and film appearances there, including roles on MVP, The Listener, and in Prom Queen: The Marc Hall Story.
