Liz Webber and Jason Morgan had a one night stand after they both thought their respective relationships were over. Sonny soon left the mob and Jason took over, making the target on his loved ones bigger. Pained, Jason was forced to distance himself from his son and the woman he loves.

Mob boss Claudia Zacchara put a hit on her enemy Sonny Corinthos, and ordered Ian Devlin to do it. Ian--who stood to get his non FDA drugs smuggled into the country if he complied--agreed.
